Alumni Impact Survey Results are here!
First, thank you to everyone who participated in our survey. We could not have completed this project without your participation and for that we are grateful. In total, 63 alumni responded to our survey.
Based on the results, we believe that we can reasonably report that:
Participation in SCIL
Increases individual understanding of Sauk County communities
Increases individual communication skills
Increases connectivity to Sauk County
Provides significant and transformational impact on individual leadership skills
One of the central questions we asked was: “What new leadership roles have you taken on since participating in SCIL?” The responses to that attest to both the value of SCIL participants, and our goal of inspiring more residents to take on leadership roles in Sauk County.
In response to the question, “To what extent have you applied lessons learned in SCIL to your professional and personal life?”
88.9% responded Very much or Extremely
In response to the question “How has the SCIL program contributed to your leadership skills?"
87.3% responded Significant or Transformational Impact on their leadership skills.
More directly, we can also report that, in terms of what this means for the value of investing in SCIL for building leaders in Sauk County:
98% of respondents increased their understanding of Sauk County communities.
97% of respondents felt more connected to Sauk County as a result of their participation in SCIL.
90% increased awareness of individual strengths to build stronger teams.
89% used the communication skills they learned to increase their understanding of self and others.
89% made changes in order to live their leadership legacy.
Therefore, we believe that:
Participation in the SCIL program results in a strong connection to Sauk County and a lasting impression that nurtures leadership in our county…today, tomorrow and hopefully for many, many years to come. None of this would be possible without the support from so many individuals, businesses, and the Sauk County Board of Supervisors over the years. For all of you, we are extremely thankful.
