What you can expect:
Each interactive SCIL session blends leadership skill development with an examination of emerging community issues. While the SCIL sessions evolve each year, the leadership topics typically include personality assessments, team building, emotional intelligence, trust building, conflict management, networking, as well as presentations related to creating and managing change.
SCIL Sessions typically meet in person on the 2nd Thursday of each month, between September and May, with a two-day kick-off retreat in September. Offsetting the in person meetings are virtual “Retention Extension” sessions that meet for an hour, two weeks after a SCIL day. These virtual sessions offer reinforcement and momentum for the program.
